Bird control solutions

The method should fit the problem.

No single method suits every site. Utazi considers the bird pressure, affected areas, access requirements and day-to-day use of the property before recommending an approach.

01 / Assess

Site survey & recommendation

Begin with a clear picture of the problem.

A site survey identifies affected areas, likely access points and the practical constraints of the property. Utazi can then recommend an appropriate method or combination of methods.

Call-out charges may apply depending on location. Confirm the charge when arranging a visit.

02 / Remove

Bird & nest removal

Deal with the immediate problem before closing the route back in.

Utazi removes unwanted birds and nests from affected areas, including suspended-ceiling spaces where access allows. Vulnerable entry points can then be proofed to help reduce repeat access.

Deep cleaning of the affected area is available as an optional service.

03 / Protect

Solar panel bird proofing

Protect the sheltered space beneath the panels.

Purpose-fitted mesh can close the perimeter around a solar array and reduce access to the space beneath it. The installation is planned around the existing panel layout and roof conditions.

04 / Exclude

Bird netting & mesh

Create a physical boundary around the space that needs protection.

Netting and mesh can be used to prevent birds from entering, landing or nesting in a defined area. Material, coverage and fixing details are selected for the site and its access requirements.

05 / Deter

Spikes & optical wax

Discourage landing where a physical barrier is not the right fit.

Stainless-steel bird spikes create a physical landing deterrent on suitable ledges and surfaces. Optical bird wax offers a less visible option for selected applications.

Surface material, sun exposure, dust and temperature affect product suitability. Utazi can advise after assessing the location.

06 / Control

Plastic strip curtains

Reduce access while keeping an opening usable.

Clear strip curtains help limit bird access through selected entrances while allowing people, equipment or goods to continue moving through the opening.

07 / Disrupt

Eagle Eye visual deterrents

Use reflected light to make selected areas less attractive to pest birds.

Wind-driven Eagle Eye units use multi-angle reflective surfaces to produce an irregular reflected-light pattern. Different colour variants are intended for different pest-bird species.

Visual deterrents work best as one considered part of a wider plan. Placement and ongoing cleaning are important to their performance.
